Carol CORELLOU

In charge of sponsorship, Director's office, Berliner Festspiele

Carol CorellouA graduate from the Institute of High European Studies (1993) and of the College of Europe in Warsaw (1996) , Carol Corellou has a also studied history and German. Her professional aim is to draw bridges between the political, social, private and cultural sectors. She has had positions in political institutions in Germany and Czech Republic.
She then worked for a social consulting agency and as key account manager for the private sector. Since 2007, she has been in charge of sponsorship at the Berliner Festspiele, a newly created position. Initiated in 1951 by the federal Republic of Germany, this renowned institution which gathers several festivals covers a wide range of cultural areas such as classical and contemporary music, jazz, theatre, dance and literature as well as the Martin-Gropius-Bau Museum. Working closely with the Berliner Festspiele Director , Prof. Joachim Sartorius, Carol builds partnerships with the private sector to diversify the festival's funding as well to achieve monumental projects such as the Royal de Luxe Coming of the Giants to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall's fall.

 


Malene RIX

Independent advisor and trainer in negotiation and process facilititation.

For the past ten years Malene Rix has worked in the field of negotiation and process facilitation for clients in both the private and public sector in Denmark and the Nordic countries. After many years of working in the cultural sector in Denmark and abroad Malene started designing courses and teaching negotiation techniques to a wide range of participants from all walks of life. In collaboration with Michael Day, CEO from Historic Royal Palaces, London, Malene designed and taught a leadership course for Nordic museumleaders. Central to the course was training the museum leaders in managing and facilitating a range of processes both internal and in relation to external stakeholders. Developing specialised courses for clients who need to refine their negotiation skills through casework, roleplay and feedback has been the core of Malene's business as well as advising corporate clients on their negotiations. Malene continues to advise individual museums and other cultural institutions. Most recently Malene has written a book about women and negotiation, currently only available in Danish.


Jane MARRIOTT

Director of Development and Director of the Royal Academy Trust
Royal Academy of Arts, London

François de MazièresJane Marriott has worked in the Arts for over 15 years. Currently raises over £12 million a year through fundraising, manages 42 staff and negotiates agreements with organisations and supporters. She is also Director of the RA Trust, providing direction for the Trustees in the preservation and increase of the Endowment Fund.

Jane spent two years at Kallaway consultancy advising arts organisations and corporate clients on fundraising, communications and event management. She also played a critical role in the hugely successful campaign of events for both Tate Britain and the opening of Tate Modern, spending four years there as an Events Manager.

A qualified marketing professional and art historian with publishing and curatorial experience, Jane has comprehensive experience and knowledge of the marketing and funding environment.

 


Michelle WRIGHT

Director of Arts and Sponsorship at Four Communications Agency, London

Thomas GirstA former professional violinist, Michelle Wright joined Four Communications from the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO), where as Development Director she was responsible for the management and ongoing development of major seven-figure sponsorships with UBS, Takeda and Rolls-Royce. This included securing the accolade of 2007 Arts and Business Champion of the Year for the UBS and LSO sponsorship. Michelle also won the Best Upcoming Fundraiser Award at the 2008 Institute of Fundraising national awards.

 


Isabelle LEMESLE

President of the Centre des Monuments Nationaux

Thomas Girst Isabelle Lemesle has a high profile career in French administration with a particular focus on leading cultural projects. Among other notable positions she was: In charge of culture, education and sports at the General Secretariat Office of the City of Paris, a representative for the Secretary of State for French speaking communities and a technical advisor at the Ministry of Culture in 1997.

She also had a central role in the Musée de L' Homme implementation project in 1998-1999 and was the general Secretary of the administrative institution in charge of the Musée du Quai Branly from 1999 to 2003.
Isabelle Lemesle is a high grade civil servant currently occupying key State functions.

She was made a Chevalier l'Ordre national du Mérite des Arts et des Lettres, rewarding her significant contribution to the development of the arts and culture in France.

 


Mireille LE VAN

General Secretary of the Fondation Orange

Mireille started her career at France Telecom in 1977. Having held several positions in management control and information systems, she was Regional Director between 1991 and 1998 both in the north and the south of France. She then took part in the launch and development of the internet as Project Director for “Internet à l'école” (Internet at school), and as the General Manager of the subsidiary company Wanadoo Pro. From 2002 to 2009, she held a managerial roles, being a Regional Director in Marseille and a Territorial Director for the south-east area of France.

In November 2009, she was appointed Fondation Orange General Secretary and Director of the Mécénat et Solidarité Groupe department which gathers Fondation Orange as well as the Group's  social solidarity-related actions dealing with emergency cases such as health issues, humanitarian crisis or natural catastrophes.

 

 

 

 



Delphine SAUCIER

Directrice of Communication, Total Germany

Delphine saucier studied Finance at the University Paris-Dauphine. Between 1990 and 1994, she worked in marketing for several companies before joining Elf (now Total). From October 1994 to February 1998 she took part in the building of the Leuna Oil Refinery. She then went to Berlin, Brussels and Marseille, where she was in charge of the communication strategy for the Provence oil refinery from late 1994 to September 2006. At the same time she also implemented a partnership with the museums of Marseille and coordinated the actions implemented for the Cezanne 2006 exhibition of which Total was a partner. Since September 2006, she has been in charge of the communication department for Total Germany which includes their sponsorship programme. The Royal de Luxe event for the Berliner Festspiele was the main sponsorship operation of 2009.
